As a staff of only six, Lanai Cat Sanctuary’s team busts okole from sunrise to sundown seven days a week to keep us with the needs of more than 500 cats. With a tiny residential population on Lanai, there are no regular volunteers to help. The needs are constant to run a high-quality sanctuary. Contact us to help.
Oahu university students can get hands on experience in nonprofit management that includes support services from assistance in social media, website development, fundraising, communications, operations and more.
Feed, clean and care for 500 cats in residence. Includes cleaning housing.
Mulch trees, water grounds, pull weeds, fertilizing and cutting the grass. Urgently in need of professional tree trimmers willing to donate their services.
Lanai residents can open their home temporarily to a kitten or cat in need. All supplies are provided you just provide the TLC.
Visitors can help for a few hours or full days with a customized experience. Here’s more information about where to stay and how to get here. We do not subsidize or provide accommodations.
