When Julia and her family adopted two bonded brothers from the Lanai Cat Sanctuary a few years ago, they never imagined how much those kittens would enrich their lives. So, when it came time to expand their feline family, they knew exactly where to return.

This time, they welcomed home two spirited sisters — now named Lani and Kai after their favorite beach on Oʻahu. With soft coats and playful energy, the sisters fit right in. “In true sibling fashion,” Julia said, “they follow their older brothers everywhere — and they’ve figured out how to read the room.”

Now, the kittens snuggle with their big brothers, proving that love (and a little patience) brings everyone together.

“We knew we wanted to adopt from the Sanctuary again,” Julia shared. “It’s a special place — and the process is so seamless. These kittens are so well-socialized and deeply loved from the start.”
