Keep Our Emails Out of Spam: How to Add Us to Your Safe Sender List

Don’t miss a meow! To make sure you get all our updates, heartwarming cat stories, and special announcements, add us to your email’s safe sender list (also known as whitelisting).

Here’s how to do it based on your email provider:

Gmail (Web or App)

1. Open any email from us.
2. Click the More icon (⋯) and choose Filter messages like this.
3. Click Create filter, then:
   • Check Never send it to Spam.
   • Click Create filter again.
4. You can also add our email to your Contacts.

*If our email is in Spam, open it and click Not Spam.

Apple Mail (Mac or iOS)

Option 1: Add to Contacts

• Tap or click our sender name at the top of the email.
• Select Add to Contacts.

Option 2 (Mac): Add to VIPs

• Open the message.
• Click the sender and select Add to VIPs.

Optional: You can also create a rule under Mail > Settings > Rules to always deliver our emails to your Inbox.

Outlook (Web or Desktop)

1. Go to Settings (gear icon).
2. Select View all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email.
3. Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.
4. Enter our email address or domain (e.g., lanaicatsanctuary.org) and click Save.

* You can also right-click an email and choose Never block sender.

Yahoo Mail

1. Open an email from us.
2. Click the More icon (⋯) and choose Add sender to contacts.
3. Or, go to Settings > More Settings > Filters > Add new filter and:
   • Name the filter (e.g., “LCS Emails”).
   • Set From to contain our email address.
   • Set it to move messages to Inbox.

* If we land in your Spam folder, click Not Spam.
