HOW TO GET HERE

Look for a big rock. No, really.

In the absence of street signs and an address, the best directions involve a dirt road and a really big rock. After passing the airport, take the second dirt road on the left and look for a highway rock marker that reads Kaunolu, an ancient village. Turn left and look for the gate on the right. There’s no admission fee, but if you love cats, your tax-deductible donation will help us continue our rescue work and provide lifelong care.

We’re open daily from 10 am to 3 pm and no appointment is needed. Bring a picnic and be ready to play and stay the day. We DO NOT have food or drinks available for purchase. We have wifi but know that you might have to stand on a makeshift box in the middle of a field to catch a cell phone signal.

Can’t get to the island right away? Visit us on Facebook or Instagram instead.

TRAVEL TIPS

Finding Your Way to Us

As a busy sanctuary with hundreds of cats in our care, we simply can’t provide personalized travel coordination services, recommendations, or pricing on how to get here and where to stay. It can be a little tricky and challenging depending on situations out of our control like, weather, ferry and airline schedules, so we we highly recommend that you to contact any of these resources directly for assistance.
